So close I can almost see it! The house is well on it's way...My family came back to visit over the past weekend. Ephraim says "CeCe" very well now too!
On Sunday, Jason and I decided to drive back home to get the rest of the materials for our kitchen and bathroom. (Oh! And the Lovesac!) The suburbs are such a drive from here. We got most of our kitchen pieces from IKEA and bathroom stuff at Lowes; neither of which are in the town we live in. There is a Lowes about an hour away...but IKEA is only in the suburbs. Ephraim did surprisingly well with all of the driving! He only got fussy about a half hour from home! That is with two days of driving!
Today, the construction guys came over to install everything. They made some progress...even with the IKEA directions. If you have ever assembled a piece of furniture from IKEA, you know what I'm talking about. The men kept referring to the directions as "coloring books."
We got the stove IN the house. Someone is still supposed to come look at it though. My pie counter is put together and I'm very excited to make my stuff from home and not next door at 7:30pm anymore! Then I can share some pictures with you. Until then, heres some more of the baby.
Ephraim is sooo excited about reading!Back to the chaos for now!
