To Have or Not to Have (A Baby in the Summer)

The great thing about having a baby in the summer is you lose weight in the winter. It's a comforting thought to hide all those extra pounds under sweaters and sweats. The bad thing about having a baby in the summer is you lose weight in the winter. With it being the season of FOOD it's hard to resist. Will I ever see the other side of 155 on that scale? I think the baby weight is done melting off and I need too kick my routine up a notch. (I hate that saying...Thanks, Emeril)

Today was one of those grey, rainy fall days. It was chilly and the perfect weather for a bowl of soup. All I had on hand was a can of tomato soup but that's ok because last time Grandma visited, she left behind these! Mini Saltines! How perfect?! No crushing involved. I actually get more excited about anything when it is offered in miniature form...like those little soda cans-LOVE em!

Today was just one of those days to keep the oven going. I love smelling something baking and having everyone running around in pajamas, cups of coffee and snuggly babies. Fall is great. Here's the recipe for pumpkin cookies I made today. I definately recommend them. And the best part-I got to send a majority of them to the restaurant so I didn't eat them all! :)
