...And We're Back!

This blog has been very neglected during the whole redo of the restaurant...which should be expected I suppose. So updates...

The grand re-opening:
went well. Jason's ice cream is sooooo yummy! And homemade waffle cones too! I will have to run lots to lose baby weight with all that ice cream at my disposal! Mmmmmmm. Everything that could have went wrong did, and everything that couldn't have still did. T-shirts finally came in though! Doesn't the baby look adorable in his?! It's only a little bit too big...And mine is only a little bit too small ;) I'll give myself a few months before I try to wear one!

Gardening:
My mother-in-law came down and fixed my garden up a bit. It's sorta impossible to bend over and weed with a watermelon belly. It looked beautiful just long enough for the Primrose and Lily from Grandma to bloom.

The weeds are starting to grow over again though. Sigh. Maybe I'll have to have Shelia work on that too. I don't think I'll ever be able to let the woman leave! A girl could get used to having an assistant!

Ephraim:
wonderful as always! :)

Ba-Ma:
Grandma came to help out for a few nights during the re-opening. It was so wonderful to spend time with her and have her take care of Ephraim so I could tend to the restaurant with Jason. She cut out photos for table tents and even stuffed menus at 5am the morning of the opening! I missed her so much I had to pay for a replacement! (See below) Ephraim even came up with a name for her-BaMa! A couple days after she left, Ephraim would put his hands up and ask "BaMa?"

Shelia:
Jason got me a Shelia. What's a Shelia? She does this for me!

Do you see the shine people? And no CAH-CARRR!! (crackers-which are very exciting to say) on the floor! A clean floor that my preggo belly didn't have to bend over to clean! He's so the best!

And this!
How adorable is it? Williams-Sonoma even offers cookie cutters to make little animal cookies to fill the jar with! I don't own one...just would like to so am sharing it with you...because I know you do too!
