So I finally made my first doctor appointment! I've been debating what I should do with moving and all and with the way that payments work out and all that it just seemed easier to make one in our new town. I was able to find a good doctor, or so I hear, who has a midwife. I'm hoping this route will help me along with having the birth I want. I'm so afraid of living in such a small town and going to their small hospital. I don't want anyone to push me into a birth I'm not wanting...I'm really considering having it at home. Honestly, I would be on board with that if there weren't complications with Ephraim's delivery.
One thing I did find weird about the doctor's office there: they just took my word for being pregnant! Like, here, I go in and "confirm" my pee test and get my vitamins, etc. When I called the office there, they said, "We don't do that anymore. We can offer you an over the counter one if you want? Generally, we just take your word for it." hmmmmm
