Thanks to my neighbors, I am able to bring you this awesome update! We still have no internet, but we have neighbors who don't know how to secure theirs. So, as long as I sit near a window with my Mac plugged in (you know, since the battery decided to break one day and I'm poor and can't buy a new one and you know how the power supply plugs into this thing? magnet! not great with a two year old! anyhow....)
So, right...here I sit with 1-3 bars of wireless internet to bring you an awesome update. Here we go!
One. We got Christmas pictures done last week. I was expecting them to turn out pretty good because Ephraim is a ham and loooooves him some camera attention. Well, he seemed to be playing hard to get or something because as we waited our thirty minutes after our appointment time, he was tired of being cute and smiley. He tried running into everyone else's photo session, but when it was his turn, he tried running out of his. His pictures turned out alright. I would have to say that Miss Aeris' turned out awesome due to her photographing skills. Shes not the most photogenic. Apparently she gets that from me.
Two. We are almost unpacked. Ha! The kids' room-done! The kitchen-done! The bathroom-done! The living room-pretty much done! The bedroom-kinda done! The laundry/sewing room-eh... I wanted to have the sewing room in order by now because I have some presents I need to get working on and already have a limited number of days! We'll see how it comes along.
Three. Baking! I have not been able to bake a damn thing yet! We need to run a gas line for our stove since they only have electric in the house we are renting. So Jason is working on that sometime this week, or so I'm told. Until then, I think I will spend the day over at my mother in law's while everyone is away at work and school to make some cookies. It is not Christmas without cookies. And you know what? It's not a good morning without coffee! Ill brb. (that's be right back, Grams ;) )
Four. We got the Christmas tree up! I think I want to string popcorn and cranberries for it...I wonder if Ephraim would try to eat it? probably.... His favorite place to be is under the tree though. I love finding him behind all the twinkling lights. Christmas lights are my favorite.
Five. I went to a gingerbread house auction last night. Totally jealous. When we lived in Lyons, Riverside has a gingerbread house contest and if I didn't find out a week before hand, and have finals, and was given strict orders not to! I would have TOTALLY won that competition. Just like had I known about this one, I would have TOTALLY won this competition. All I'm saying is look out Ginger! It's on! (And you're totally going down cuz I don't play to lose) Poor girl doesn't really even know me...but whatev....I'm going to devote my life to making the best gingerbread cathedral and frank lloyd wright house next year. That's right, I'll do two. I've always wanted to do a to-scale frank lloyd wright house gingerbread house and then I saw a cathedral online! Wow. There are some awesome gingerbread houses out there!
Six. I will be uploading photos of the kids as soon as we have our own internet so it goes much faster than this blog post has!
Seven. Now that I have a hot cup of coffee, Aeris has decided sitting in the bouncy sucks and she wants to be held. obviously.
Eight. I love you all! Good morning!! :)
Nine. It used to say five, six, five, six...but I made Jason fix it.
