Hip to be Square

I actually made some time for a bit of sewing yesterday! I've only made one project from this book so far and have been dying to find some free time to be able to sit down with it again. This wonderful little book from Joelle Hoverson, Last Minute Patchwork and Quilted Gifts, over at Purl (of course).
This book is so great because it breaks projects down by completion time. The table of contents page lists projects by "Less-than-2-Hour Gifts, 2-to 4-Hour Gifts, 4-to 8-Hour Gifts, 8-to 12-Hour Gifts, and More-than-12-Hour Gifts." So far I've only made the coasters, shown above, and a pin cushion...which I've seemed to have misplaced over the Thanksgiving cleaning.
My only tip on the coasters: I would add another layer of batting the second time around; they seemed too thin for me. Other than that, they were very simple to make and turned out nicely!

Other square things on the horizon:
I thought this Chicago Bears ragtime quilt would be a great Christmas present for Steve so I had to draft it out, yes..in AutoCAD even, and render in Photoshop to get a feel for the finished look. I'm probably one of a few quilters, if not the only one, who plans quilts out that way.
...Now I just need a fund (and time) to make them all
