I know that a due date really means nothing. It's just a date given to you to make you go crazy, obsessing over. In reality, the doctor's office will allow me to go eight more weeks, putting me at 42 weeks. I get that the baby comes when it's ready though...and am hoping, crossing my fingers that the "when ready" is very soon.
I go back to the doctor next week. After that, I will continue to go every week for the "let's see how far the baby is!" check. It's pretty much decided that we will be trekking to Peoria though. I am adamant on not having the baby in this hospital here and am going to have to cross my legs for the hour and a half drive. We'll totally make it. We'll totally make it....We'll totally make it............ or the baby may be born in the front seat. Either way, I guess I win and don't have the baby in the hospital in this town?
In other super exciting news....which is if you are 16 months old...Puzzles, Suckers and Cars!
The other day we went out on a family outing to, where else in Macomb, Farm King! Woo! We got baby a Melissa and Doug puzzle even! Wow!! I was excited about this find, at a reasonable price, even! We also bought a pack of Dum Dums for Ephraim to try. All he kept saying was Mmmm! MMMMMmmmmmmmm!!! over and over. (I have a video of it but we still don't have all of the programs up after the motherboard issues...)

And CARS! Ephraim has been in love with cars, in general, for the past month or so. Jason came home from Walmart with the Cars movie for Ephraim the other day and it has been on ever since. Ephraim even picked out a Cars book at Walmart the next day. He's in love in his little chair watching this movie. That makes me love it too!
Ephraim being into his movies more has allowed me to complete this!

After I successfully sewed the aprons for the restaurant, I decided I could tackle any pattern! That was, until I opened the package and immediately became intimidated by words like "bodice lining" and "understitching." Anyhow, the outfit turned out fairly well for a first run, and doesn't even look too awful bad in the Walmart seersucker fabric I was able to find. (Notice all the walmarts? That's all we have!) I am giving another pattern a go with my Chocolate Lollipop now though... Hopefully, it will turn out just as cute!
