Food, Glorious Food!

I've been making Ephraim's food lately...from scratch. I know, I know--it sounds very AP, granola mommy but it's pretty simple and seems to be saving quite a bit of money. Plus, its nice to feed him something that I've made, knowing exactly what is in his food.

We just pick up some fresh produce, boil or bake it until tender, them puree. Pour that into ice cube trays, then Ziplock it.

And the greatest thing of all, Ephraim isn't refusing any food! He used to spit out peaches, bananas, squash...and now he eats everything. Even the chicken I mixed in with his veggies last night.

In fact, Ephraim has become such a fan of eating, hes even trying to feed himself. Now, I know that seven months is too early to be learning self feeding, but if hes willing, who am I to obstruct the learning?

mmmmmm carrots!
