April Fools!

As a kid, I remember this day being SO exciting. I would wake up and be so eager to pull a prank on someone but was never any good at it. Now that I have kids, I suppose that my skills are finally superior, but I can't use them quite yet. It'd be a bit mean to prank a two year old, you think? I can't prank Jason either; he's too smart for that. Actually, I'm sure I could pull a "rubber band around the dish sprayer" or possibly the "plastic wrap on the toilet" prank. I would only be successful at said pranks by taking advantage of Jason's blind, sleepy eyes. Also, I'm sure it would make half-awake-Jason cranky and result in me cleaning up the mess anyhow. PLUS, retaliation is a bitch. And he would get me back. And I would STILL clean up the mess.

Maybe someday our marriage will be to the point where we can participate in the festivities. You know, the point in our marriage where we commit to holiday cards and family portraits together. Someday...
