Yesterday, we celebrated Jason's twenty-eighth birthday. It was a big deal for us, especially because I wanted to let Ephraim know what birthdays were all about since he has one coming up next month--the big 2!
Jason had to work until 4 so Ephraim and I hung streamers and balloons; he walked around shouting, "PARTY!" all day.
We went to Jason's mom's for dinner and had his favorite, meatloaf, and I made chocolate ganache cake with strawberry filling, just as he ordered.
