Brought to you by the letter "G"...

Geja's
Jason planned a wonderful date night for us Friday. We first started dating on Thanksgiving so it was an anniversary celebration, of sorts. I mentioned once or twice that I would like to go to a fondue restaurant so Jason surprised me by taking us to a beautiful one in they city, Geja's Cafe. (He really is so thoughtful with surprises) They didn't take reservations on the weekends so we had about a fourty-five minute wait. I thought we'd be sitting on this tiny little bench near the coat check, but no, there was a cozy little lounge in the back with the best wine menu. I say the best because it listed Chianti Classico Riserva 2003. I'd even been to this vineyard in Italy and tasted it on a wine tasting tour, so I felt pretty special and had to have some. Anyhow, after drinks and a short wait, we got to sit down right next to a Flamenco player. We had cheese fondue first, followed by a main course, then chocolate fondue and cappuccino. Such a romantic dinner...

We couldn't just end the night at dinner...we did have a babysitter. Jason had three options for our entertainment for the evening so we chose to see the new Coen brothers film, No Country for Old Men. I thought it was an excellent movie, but would really like to see it a second time. Maybe I will read the book first. I know movies and books are apples and oranges, but I can't help but compare them. Anyhow...fantastic evening! I love you, Jason :)

Gymboree!
I've been looking for a good playgroup for Ephraim these past couple weeks. Last Saturday we previewed a Gymboree class and decided to sign up this week. The class he is in is for 6-10 month olds. There are about five other babies there, from about seven months to nine months....so they are all really close in age. The class is one hour long and the instructor switches up the activities every ten minutes or so. It's great to see him interact with other babies and just be able to climb around and play for a whole hour. We have such a blast! (You can see more on the photo site.)
